PNP COVID-19 cases climb to 42,162

Four new COVID-19 cases were recorded among Philippine National Police personnel on Saturday, driving up the PNP's total tally of such infections to 42,162.

Of this number, 109 are active.

Eleven new recoveries meanwhile were recorded by the PNP Health Service. This made the total recoveries reach 41,928.

The death toll meanwhile remained at 125.

The Department of Health on Saturday recorded 1,474 new COVID-19 cases bringing the nationwide tally to 2,824,499.

Active infections stood at 22,070.

Total recoveries climbed by 2,565 to 2,755,526 while 205 new fatalities pushed the death toll to 46,903. —KG, GMA News
