Fire hits residential area in QC
A fourth-alarm fire that broke out in a residential area along Congressional Avenue in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Quezon City was declared fire out late Saturday night.
According to video footage shared by YouScooper Abby Libut-Lugtu, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) declared the fire out at 11:26 p.m.

The blaze escalated to the fourth alarm before firefighters fully extinguished it.
No one was injured in the fire.
Authorities however have yet to release information on the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
On Sunday morning, thin white smoke could still be seen rising from the affected area.
Both directions of Congressional Avenue were still closed to traffic as of before 6 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities later on closed Congressional Avenue Bridge in Quezon City to motorists after parts of the bridge were found to have lifted after the fire.
Traffic was rerouted toward Cagayan Street and Villa Socorro Street.
The Quezon City Government said it will await the recommendation of the Department of Public Works and Highways as to the duration of the bridge closure, and whether or not motorcycles will be allowed to pass through.
Meanwhile, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte visited the damaged bridge on Sunday and also checked on the 45 families affected by the fire.
The affected residents were temporarily brought to Bago Bantay Elementary School. — MCG/KG, GMA News
