Tab Baldwin's stepdaughter says mom endured 'living hell' for speaking out vs. coach
A stepdaughter of Ateneo de Manila University basketball coach Tab Baldwin took to social media her narrative of the struggles her mother faced for speaking out against him before the educational institution, the elder woman's lawyer told GMA News.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Giota Kalogirou corroborated the statements of a woman named Efi, who identified herself as Baldwin's estranged wife, regarding repeated attempts to warn Ateneo about him.
"My mom BEGGED them to assign him into a different team - a team with adults, away from the University, away from minors and they not only ignored her but made her life living hell for months," her post read.
"Keep asking questions," the post added.
In a separate post, Kalogirou tagged Epok Quimpo and recounted how the Ateneo men's basketball team manager allegedly laughed after being told that Baldwin was "dangerous to kids."
"Remember laughing at my mom? Remember putting him inside the Ateneo dorms and us begging you to take him out? Now you have two funerals to explain," Kalogirou said.
@epokquimps remember how you were laughing when we told you Tab was DANGEROUS to kids.

Lawyer Tudor Clee, the Auckland-based legal representative of Efi, told GMA News that Kalogirou is one of her four children from a previous relationship.
Efi and Baldwin did not have children, Clee said.
In her video message, Efi said she has been married to Baldwin since 2011, but decided to "flee away" from him in early 2020 for her safety and that of their children.
Efi recalled her repeated attempts to inform Ateneo that "children are not safe around him and it was their duty to remove him."
"I urged them to move him away from the campus, the university campus, and they proceeded to launch a campaign of intimidation and silencing," she added, without directly naming the parties behind the supposed campaign.
She expressed dismay with Baldwin's message on Friday evening to the parents of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, his two basketball players who drowned in a team building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora on June 8.
