The Southwest Monsoon or the Habagat caused flooding in several areas in Metro Manila, prompting several cities to suspend classes.
In a "24 Oras" report on Wednesday, several streets began to look like rivers because of the flooding.
España Boulevard, Blumentritt and other streets in Manila were flooded. N.S. Amoranto in Quezon City was also flooded.
Because of the foul weather and the flooding, Quezon City classes were cancelled.
Classes in several other cities were suspended.
State weather bureau PAGASA has attributed the rains to the Southwest Monsoon, which is still expected to cause downpour across Luzon in the coming days. — Jean Mangaluz/BAP, GMA News
