The Clash champion Golden Cañedo, The Clash finalists, and OST Princess Hannah Precillas sign up with GMA Records

GMA Records welcomed The Clash champion Golden Cañedo, The Clash finalists Jong Madaliday, Garrett Bolden, Mirriam Manalo, Josh Adornado, Anthony Rosaldo, and Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas to its roster of talents as they signed separate contracts with the Network’s recording arm on Friday, October 26.

GMA Records welcomed The Clash champion Golden Cañedo, The Clash finalists Jong Madaliday, Garrett Bolden, Mirriam Manalo, Josh Adornado, Anthony Rosaldo, and Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas to its roster of talents as they signed separate contracts with the Network’s recording arm on Friday, October 26.

Golden feels overwhelmed as she marks another milestone in her career, but the young Kapuso singer is more inspired to do better in her upcoming album to express her gratitude to all her supporters.

“Parang panaginip po talaga ang mga nangyayari sa buhay ko. May ginagawa po silang album para sa akin. Ngayon, pinaghahandaan ko na po iyon. Pangarap ko po talagang magkaroon ng sariling kanta.”

At the same time, Jong, Garrett, Mirriam, Josh and Anthony thanked GMA Records for the trust that's been given them and they are very excited to work on their individual singles.

GMA’s OST Princess Hannah Precillas is thankful to have a platform where she can share her brand of music.

Hers is the voice behind the well-loved theme songs of GMA entertainment programs namely Hahamakin Ang Lahat, Kambal, Karibal, Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, Kapag Nahati Ang Puso and Onanay.

Hannah looks forward to fulfilling her dream of reaching different audiences and exploring other genres, “I am very excited po. Lahat naman ng singers dream ang magkaroon ng original single. This is what I’ve dreamed of for a very long time.”

Meanwhile, GMA Records Managing Director Rene Salta proudly welcomed the newest recording artists of GMA and reveals that they have already quality projects lined up for them.

“We’re strengthening our roster so ide-develop natin ang talents at potential ng mga batang ito. Our objective is to create songs and albums for them. This is the right time, lalo na we have Studio 7 which will allow them to showcase their talents on a weekly basis. Magkakaroon din sila ng songs na available sa digital platform,” he said.

Present in the contract signing were GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, Senior Talent Managers Tracy Garcia, Vic del Rosario, and Joy Marcelo, GMA Records Managing Director Rene Salta, and GMA Records A&R Manager Kedy Sanchez.
