Over 8,000 job vacancies will be available during the "Kadaugan" local and overseas job fair on Saturday, April 20, 2024 in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.
At least 18 local companies will join the job fair such as malls, hotels, restaurants, business process outsourcing (BPO) companies and English as a Second Language (ESL) schools.
Ten licensed overseas recruitment agencies accredited by the Department of Migrant Workers are also set to join.
At least 4,706 job slots are available in local companies while 3,852 job vacancies are for overseas employment, according to Kim Francisco, manager of the Lapu-Lapu City Public Employment Services Office (PESO).
