Farmers in Laoag City have started plowing their fields after recent rains gave them enough water to begin planting.
Some used the traditional method with their carabaos, while others used small tractors called “kuliglig” to make the work faster.
The farmers said the rainfall helped a lot, and they hope the rains continue so that all their drying fields will have enough water for the planting season.
