Several areas in Davao City are set to experience power interruption for eight hours on Friday, June 27, 2025.

In an advisory, the Davao Light and Power Company Inc. (DLPC) said the power interruption will start from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The areas that will be affected include Communal Road, Country Homes Road, Forrestal Road, Sta. Lucia, Camella, Diamond Heights, Country Homes, Ilumina Estates, Pag-ibig Homes, Remedios Heights, and nearby areas.

DLPC said the power interruption is due to emergency line upgrading works in the area.

“Safety is paramount to the company, and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity areas where line repairs and maintenance are being conducted. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment,” the advisory said.
