Cebu Doctors University’s (CDU) excellent performance in the March 2024 Medical Technology licensure examination is led by the school’s very own Jeency Agujar Pilapil, who emerged as the board topnotcher after scoring 93 percent, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on March 26. 

Joining Jeency in the top 10 list are fellow CDU graduates, Nikki Lascuña Phung at number six (92.20%), and ninth-ranked Carmelyn Roneth Magalang who scored 91.80%. CDU, a Mandaue City-based medical university, registered an impressive 100% passing rate after the contingent went 90 for 90.

Coming in at close second is Saint Louis University product, Jed Cangsan, who scored 92.80%. Another SLU graduate in Eriza Joy Tambalque cracked the top ten list, ranking sixth with a total score of 92.20.

Ralph Tulmo of Riverside College in Bacolod and Al-Jay Cortez of San Pedro College - Davao City follow at third and fourth, respectively.

There is a four-way tie for the fifth spot, shared by Elijah Cabase (University of Cebu-Banilad), James Kyle Ching (Velez College), and Angela Grace Regalado and Denise Antoinette Rivera - both from University of Santo Tomas.
