A 38-year-old priest died after he was hit by a prime mover truck in Panabo City, Davao del Norte on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, Panabo City Police Station chief, Lt. Col. Dexter Cuevas, said the victim was traveling to Davao City on his motorcycle when he reportedly lost control while navigating a curved section of the road, causing him to fall.
The truck that was traveling behind the motorcycle hit the victim.
The victim sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital, but he passed away later.
The truck driver was taken into police custody for further investigation, as of this writing.
