The premiere episode of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre was hot topic online with the hashtag #SanggreWorldPremiere trending in the Philippines as of midnight on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Data gathered the following days showed the pilot episode had generated 18 million views across different social media platforms. 

The pilot was no less than epic, bringing back to the screens the 2016 Sang’gres Kylie Padilla, Glaiza de Castro, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia in full warrior regalia as Amihan, Pirena, Danaya, and Alena fighting and channeling their powers to defeat a dragon.

The pilot also brought fans to the cold world of Mine-a-ve where main antagonist, Rhian Ramos’ character Mitena, brought to the ground Arsus, a giant who has been ruling the land of ice with terror.

With Arsus dead, Mitena would then declare herself the ruler of Mine-a-ve. There, Rhian Ramos is joined by special characters played by Gabby Eigenmann, Bianca Manalo, Jon Lucas, Jamie Wilson, Shuvee Etrata, Mika Salamanca, Billie Hakenson, Hailey Dizon.

All too familiar characters made audiences nostalgic during the pilot episode, including Solenn Heusaff’s Cassiopea who saw her impending death, and Imaw, voiced by Noel Urbano.

With visual effects that highlights the best of the Filipino talent, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre aims to inspire audiences more about the deeper meaning of being powerful and the importance of family.

Breathing life into Encantadia 20 years after it first captured the hearts of audiences, the 2025 offering stars GMA Network’s Prime Gem Bianca Umali as Terra, the keeper of Earth Gem, the daughter of Danaya and a human named Theo; Faith da Silva as Flamara, keeper of the fire gem; Angel Guardian as Deia, keeper of the Air Gem; and Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, keeper of the Water Gem.

Characters in the human world are played by Manilyn Reynes as Mona Reyes, Ricky Davao as Governor Emil Salvador, Buboy Garovillo as Javier Reyes, Benjie Paras as Kapre, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan as Katrina Salvador, together with Martin Del Rosario, Therese Malvar, Vince Maristela, Matt Lozano, Paolo Paraiso, Shiela Marie Rodriguez, Pam Prinster, Moi Bien, Lotlot Bustamante, Heath Jornales.

Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre will have the special participation of Ruru Madrid, Rocco Nacino, Michelle Dee, Mikee Quintos, Kate Valdez, Derrick Monasterio, Elle Villanueva, Ysabel Ortega, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Radson Flores, Wendell Ramos, Ashley Rivera, Maxine Medina, Carlo Gonzalez, Marx Topacio, Jay Ortega, Skye Chua, Larkin Castor, Brianna Bunagan, Cassandra Lavarias, and Justin De Dios.
