An 18-year-old man was shot dead by a 15-year-old boy along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Buhatan, Sorsogon City.
According to police, the victim sustained gunshot wounds in his chest, which caused his death.
The police recovered an improvised firearm allegedly used by the suspect.
The motive behind the shooting is believed to be related to a dispute over a cap.
The minor is now in police custody as investigation into the incident continues.
“Yaon naman digdi ining ebidensya, yaon naman ini digding suspetsado, pero padagos pa po an satong paglansar kan mga kaipuhan na dokumento tangani pong masangatan ta nin kaso an embweltong menor de edad,” PLTCOL. Jeric Don P. Sadia, Chief of Police of the Sorsogon City Police Station, said.
