A 48-year-old man was shot and killed in Barangay Tiep, Bani, Pangasinan. The incident was captured on video.

In the cell phone footage, a man can be seen standing by the roadside with several bystanders nearby. Another man in a white shirt approached and, without warning, shot him.

The suspect then walked away calmly as the victim fell to the ground.

Police said the victim was a resident of Barangay Concordia. 

The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

Based on police investigation, the suspect and the victim had been drinking together and got into a heated argument.

"Nagkaroon sila ng away. Pagbalik niya, may dala na[ng baril], naglakad lang ayon sa mga witnesses," PLT. Lorenzo Delos Santos, Jr., Deputy Chief of Bani Police Station, said.

The police identified the suspect as a 34-year-old man.

"Continuous follow-up ang ginagawa namin, at [may] mga witnesses para mai-file natin ang case," Delos Santos said.
