Suspected shabu worth more than P1 million was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tampac Uni, Guimba, Nueva Ecija on Christmas Eve.
Police arrested a 42-year-old man from Bulacan who is on the PNP list of high-value individuals. Authorities also arrested his companion, a 26-year-old resident of Bulacan.
Aside from the illegal drugs, police recovered a caliber .45 firearm from the suspects. Authorities also retrieved the boodle money used in the transaction.
The suspects have not issued any statement and will face charges as investigation continues.
