Authorities have padlocked a gasoline station in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte due to incomplete documents.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Caraga (CIDG-13) launched an operation after finding out that a gas station in Barangay Simbalan lacked the necessary permits from the Department of Energy (DOE).
During the operation, the owner was present but was only able to present a business permit issued by the local government unit.
Authorities added that the owner reportedly admitted that they had not yet secured the required license from DOE.
Police seized several plastic drums and containers containing gasoline.
The owner and a female cashier were taken to the CIDG regional office for further investigation.
