A 31-year-old construction worker in the town of Bindoy, Negros Oriental died when he got pulled into a cement mixer.
The incident happened morning on April 21, 2025 in Barangay Batangan where the construction company he was working for was engaged in a concreting project.
Based on police investigation, the man was checking the cement mixer when part of his clothing reportedly got snagged by the machine. And because it was reportedly spinning fast at that time, the victim was pulled into the mixer.
Responders reportedly had a difficult time retrieving the victim’s remains from the mixer.
The man was brought to the hospital but did not make it there alive.
As of this writing, investigation into the incident is ongoing. Authorities also want to know if there was foul play in the incident.
