A female drug suspect was arrested with 4.2 kilos of shabu worth P28.5 million in Bacolod City.

Authorities arrested alias “Bongi,” 36, during a buy-bust operation evening on May 19, 2026 in Barangay 31.

The arrest came after unsuccessful attempts at dealing with the suspect.

Col. Eugene Rebadomia, Director of the Bacolod City Police Office, said they have tried to trap the suspect for two to three months.

They did not expect, however, that they would confiscate this amount of illegal drugs.

“Actually, matagal na siya. It’s almost two to three months kasi hindi namin ma-identify kung saan nanggaling. Hindi kami nag-expect na ganito kadami ang items na nakuha namin,” he said.

Police said their investigation showed that the drugs may have come from Luzon and Mindanao.

The suspect allegedly sold and distributed the drugs herself.

“Nagbebenta siya, at the same time, nagdi-distribute sa ilang barangay sa Bacolod City. Lumalabas ang pangalan niya as courier,” Rebadomia said.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

She did not issue a statement.
