Up to 26 people were rescued from a nine-story structure that collapsed in Angeles City, Pampanga dawn on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Authorities said the 26 are among the estimated 30 to 40 people that got trapped when the structure collapsed.
Search and rescue operations continue, as of this writing.
The structure was being built along Teodoro Street in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
The city has activated a Unified Command System for coordinated efforts.
