Authorities arrested four men engaged allegedly in gunrunning activities in Barangay Villarica, Midsayap, North Cotabato.
According to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the suspects were caught selling and delivering an M14 rifle and two M16 rifles without the necessary documents.
During the operation, the suspects reportedly failed to present permit and license to own, possess, and trade the items.
“This accomplishment underscores the Unit’s commitment in preventing crimes by removing from circulation and use- the very instruments of killing and violence,” CIDG said.
