All eyes are on Colegio de San Juan de Letran and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA as they commence their respective three-peat bids when the NCAA Season 100 beach volleyball tournament, reads a report by GMA Integrated News' Bea Micaller.

The tournament opened on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Set once again at the SBMA Sand Court in Subic, the Lady Knights and the ALTAs go for a rare third straight title in the women's and men's divisions — a feat that neither squad has achieved in the past.

The Lady Knights will start things off with a battle with San Sebastian College-Recoletos at 7 a.m. with veteran Lara Mae Silva and sisters Gia and Jogi Maquilang all returning for their title defense campaign.

The ALTAs, meanwhile, will begin their post-Louie Ramirez bid when they take on De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde at 10 a.m. with former MVP Jeff Marapoc leading the squad alongside Klint Mateo and Dexter Arrozado.

It will also mark the first game for Perpetual since the death of longtime and multi-titled head coach Sammy Acaylar, who passed away last Thursday.

In the juniors division, Emilio Aguinaldo College will look to make it two titles in a row as the school squares off with Lyceum of the Philippines University at 8:30 a.m.

EAC will be bannered by James and Aljhan Apdian and Ian Basconcillo.
