Solenn Heussaff relates how she and her husband make their perfect-imperfect relationship work.

Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff and husband Nico Bolzico are one of the most popular celebrity couples to date.

So much so, that the #BulliedHusbandsClub posts on Instagram have always trended online whenever Nico would give his two-cents regarding his relationship with the sexy actress.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, we get to know Solenn's side of the story and how she and her husband make their perfect-imperfect relationship work.

The Love You Two actress admits that Nico sometimes consults with her whenever he would post the trending hashtag.

With little chagrin, she says, “Sometimes he will ask me. Most of the time he doesn't because he knows it's my personality.

“But when he thinks he might be crossing the line, he'll ask me, 'Is it okay if I write this? Or put this?'”

It is, after all, a truth that most females and sometimes men can relate to.

And for Solenn, that's the basic reflection of what life should be like--fun.

“Well, of course, there is some truth to it. It's a fun truth.

“But I know that he would never post something that would make me look bad.

“I know how his personality is and we would make fun of how we are as a couple.

“And that's how life is supposed to be. Not so serious para at least you get to enjoy.”

Catching up

Aside from being a fun couple, both Solenn and Nico are go-getters.

As an actress, model, painter, vlogger, and makeup artist, Solenn's schedule is almost always packed.

And the same can be said for Nico.

Aside from his own share of endorsements, he owns LM10, an agricultural consultancy business, and co-owns Bolzico Beef with brother-in-law Erwan Heussaff.

So, how do these two busy bees catch-up after a hectic day at work?

Solenn says they both give time for each other and lets them do their own thing.

“Well, Nico and I have always been super chill with each other.

“Even when we're working apart or if I'm in another country or he's in another country we're not the type of couple to call every day.

“Like, we'll message once every three days. Like, 'How are you doing?'

“And then we get to catch up when we get home. At least we'll have a lot of things to talk about.”

Keeping boundaries

Never a decent photo with this one. From our run in alabang, 20 min shower / make up ( spray salt water on hair for wet look for lyf lol) and all you need is a @rajolaurel dress to glam you up :) #TatlerBall2018 Nico in @suititupmanila

On the same note, Solenn and Nico both make sure to set boundaries as to what each can contribute to the other's business efforts.

Solenn says, “We like to keep it [business matters] to ourselves.

“Of course, when I have certain questions about the business-side I usually ask him because he is more business-minded and I'm more artsy-fartsy.

“I'll ask him and then he'll give me his two-cents and then from there I'll decide what to do.

“But he's never going to be the type to tell me we shouldn't do this or you should.

“He always tries to collaborate with me with my ideas and try to help me in ways that he can.”

Sharing the load

Lastly, the actress mentions that it is important to share each other's load at the household--yes, including pets.

Eventually, Solenn shares, that this activity will turn into habits for couples to bond together.

“Well so, the cat is more me. And then the dog is more Nico.

“Like first thing in the morning, 7:00 a.m., he walks the dog. But at night, we walk the dog together, that's our routine.

“So, we leave our phones, we get to talk, we walk two kilometers with the dog.

“And then, the dog now sleeps with us in the room. All my pets are in the room.

“Except for the turtles. They are in the balcony. They don't give me love in return so they can stay there,” she laughs.
