EXCLUSIVE: Sophie Albert, hindi takot na ma-typecast sa 'kabit' roles
Wala daw isyu kay Kapuso actress Sophie Albert na isa na namang kabit role ang gagampanan niya sa upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series na Bihag.
Gaganap siya dito bilang si Reign, isang babaeng susubok sa pagsasama ng mag-asawang Jessie at Brylle na gagampanan naman nina Max Collins at Jason Abalos.
Ang Bihag ay ang follow up project niya matapos gumanap bilang kabit na si Amber sa GMA Telebabad series na Pamilya Roces.
Paglilinaw ni Sophie, malaki daw ang pagkakaiba nina Reign at Sophie kahit pareho silang kabit.
"It's very very different kahit on paper they kinda look similar.
"Execution-wise, super different ang character ni Amber from Reign. Reign is more serious kasi inaakit ko si Jason eh. It's a more serious character," paliwanag niya sa isang eksklusibong panayam ng GMANetwork.com.
Mas nahirapan daw siya ngayon kay Reign, lalo na at kailangan niya itong bigyan ng panibagong dimensyon para rin maiba mula kay Amber.
"The sexiness of Reign's character is a little bit different and a little bit more challenging for me because with Amber, playful eh. Medyo 'yung pa-sexy niya is more cutey. Reign is more challenging for me because nga you have to be more seductive and its a little hard," aniya.
Aminado din si Sophie na nagkaroon siya ng alinlangan na tanggapin ang role.
"In the beginning, I thought it might the same. But when I read the script, it's totally different.
"With Amber, she's medyo on the dumb side. Here naman with Reign, she's intelligent. She's always one step ahead of everyone," pahayag niya.
Hindi naman daw siya natatakot na laging kabit role ang mai-offer sa kanya.
"That's what the viewers like eh, mga kabit. Ako, I'm very excited about this show, about this role and everything that I'll learn from this show. I'm really excited," pagtatapos niya.
Abangan si Sophie bilang si Reign sa Bihag, Lunes hanggang Biyernes simula April 1 sa GMA Afternoon Prime.
