Asian Games: Wushu bet Daniel Parantac wins silver for first medal for Team Philippines
The Philippines finally crashed the medal party of the 2014 Asian Games on Tuesday after Daniel Parantac won a silver in the men's tajiquan event in wushu.
Parantac's score of 9.68 was good for second behind Chen Zhouli of China, who finished with 9.78.
Wushu has proven to be a source of strength for the Philippine campaign, with other wushu bets Jean Claude Saclag and Francisco Solis already assured of medals in their respective men's Sanda events.
Parantac also won a gold medal for the Philippines in the tajiquan event in the Southeast Asian Games last December. — JST, GMA News
