Iriga youth successfully pick mangoes from a tree with an incredible dance toss

First, the most important warning: Do not try this at home, kids.

These boys and Mangga Girl from Iriga City, CamSur are real dancers who undergo at least two hours of training a day for five days a week.

Which probably explains why their moves are spot-on.

On Facebook, 19-year-old Jed Nagales shared several videos and photos of him and four of his friends tossing their lady friend Dannielle Briones — now known as Mangga Girl — to pick mangoes from a tree.

“Trip lang po talaga namin yun,” Jed tells GMA News Online on Facebook messenger, adding it was the first time they ever tried picking the fruits from the mango tree across Iriga City Public Library.

He shares they’re actually dance mates who belong to the nine-year-old MAG Dancers group. They train at least two hours a day, five days a week and actually go on competitions.

Which probably explains Dannielle's beautifully pointed toes, her graceful reach, the boys' strength, and their intense launch.

In fact, Jed is on his way to the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts to take up Fine Arts, major in Contemporary Dance. “I am on 100 percent scholarship and I’m about to go there in July for my admissions,” he says, adding their roadside stunt is “so dangerous. Don’t try it if you don’t know how.”

And so let’s do the next best thing: Sit on our chairs, put their video on repeat, and enjoy the slow-mo action.

Since its Saturday upload, Jed’s content has been shared over 25,000 times. Incredible. — LA, GMA News
