Ompong winds fell trees in NCR, Pampanga

Strong winds brought by Typhoon Ompong felled trees across Metro Manila and caused the ground to collapse into a river in Pampanga on Saturday.

YouScoopers shared with GMA News some of the damage wrought in their respective areas as Ompong made its way through northern Luzon.

 

 

Ompong traverses in a west northwestward direction west of Laoag City on Saturday and is expected to be out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility at past 8 p.m.

Signal no. 2 is hoisted over Pampanga, while Signal no. 1 is up over Metro Manila. —Jessica Bartolome/JST, GMA News
