Davao-based tailors show Duterte’s barong for 1st SONA

Davao-based tailors on Saturday gave a first look at the Bagong Tagalog that will be worn by President Rodrigo Duterte during his first State of the Nation Address on Monday.

Bonie Adaza of Chardin-House of Style said that Duterte's full open bagong will be purely made of piña jusi.

Aries Escarilla, meanwhile, said Duterte's partner, Honeylet Avancena, will wear a piña silk dress during the event.
