Eat Bulaga's Miss Millennial Philippines is more than just a stereotypical beauty pageant

The Philippines' longest-running afternoon variety show Eat Bulaga has a new segment, and it's more than just a beauty pageant.

Miss Millennials Philippines features 38 contestants from all over the Philippines, who've traveled to Manila to compete in the beauty pagaent segment.

Unlike the usual beauty pageants where beauty, brains, and talents are the main criteria, candidates of Miss Millennial Philippines need to showcase what their respective places of origin have to offer.

The girls will face-off to win a condominium unit and half a million pesos.

The winner’s province or city will also receive one million pesos to be used as the province’s or city’s priority project fund. — LA, GMA News
