An answered prayer: Rachelle Ann Go celebrates engagement to Martin Spies

Acclaimed thespian Rachelle Ann Go took to Instagram to share the good news with her friends, family, and fans: Her boyfriend Martin Spies has proposed and she said yes.

Go on Friday posted a photo of Spies kneeling before her on the beach, carrying a jewelry box.

"I just prayed for this on my 31st birthday and just like that this happened," the actress wrote. "What an amazing God we have. Thank you Father God for this man. A man who loves you first. I still cannot believe this!!! Aahhh!"

Go additionally quoted Psalm 37:4, which reads "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

In her previous Instagram post about Spies, Go spoke of their shared faith.

"Look for a man who will not just patiently wait for you after work, carry your bag 'coz he knows you're tired, treat you like a queen, make you laugh constantly but also who puts God first and pray for/with you. If he loves God first he will also honor & respect you all the days of your life!" she declared a month prior to their engagement.
