Iya Villania thinks being in 'Lip Sync Battle' will help her have a happy pregnancy — just like the last time

'Lip Sync Battle Philippines' is returning in April for its third season and host-actress Iya Villania-Arellano remains as the color commentator for the show.

Just like in the first season, she is expecting!

At the press conference of the show on Monday, Iya said her job with 'Lip Sync Battle' will help her with her pregnancy the way it did the first time, when she was pregnant with Baby Primo.

"I love that I get to do Lip Sync Battle kasi, I'd like to think na kaya naging masayahin din si Primo. My whole pregnancy was very positive and happy and with Lip Sync Battle makakadagdag lang 'yan sa happiness ko and I think it's helping with my pregnancy," she said. 

Her co-host Michael V. agreed and noted that Lip Sync Battle's environment is full of laughter. Besides, music has a good effect on the baby.

"Lahat eh tawanan, may music naririnig lahat yan ng bata habang nasa loob pa, magandang environment ang Lip Sync Battle," Bitoy said.

When asked what happened first, the offer to do 'Lip Sync Battle' again or her pregnancy, she said it was the latter. She and husband Drew Arellano have been trying since last year.

"Nauna 'yung pagbubuntis, actually akala ko last year, eh last year pa naman kami nag-ta-try ni Drew eh, talagang nagkataon na tumiming talaga siya kung kelan buntis na ako," Iya said.

Iya Villania gave birth to Baby Primo on August 2016, she and Drew  announced that they are expecting another baby boy last February.

Lip Sync Battle Philippines Season 3 will premiere on April 1. — LA, GMA News
