What happened at the Marvel Creative Day Out Year 2

Marvel Comics fans flocked to De La Salle College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts in Manila on Wednesday to interact and enjoy face time with some of members of its creative team and their fellow fans.

Newly appointed Editor-in-Chief for Marvel Comics C.B. Cebulski, Filipino Marvel Comics pencilers Leinil Yu and Harvey Tolibao, Disney China's Vice President for Creative Allen Au-Yeung were present to share their knowledge and contributions in the Marvel cinematic universe.

While some fans wore superhero shirts, a few went out of their way to put on full-on costumes.

Tolibao presented the process on how he drafts and sketches superheroes, and their facial expressions. According to him, he looks at a photo of the character, then looks at the mirror to check his expression, and then draw it as the character's expression.

A freedom wall was set up at the venue to give fans and aspiring comic artists the chance to showcase their talent on the spot. Marvel reps were said to have checked out the wall.

Yu and Tolibao had their own consultation areas where they gave fans and hopefuls professional feedback and suggestions as well as the opportunity to show their artworks to them .

Marvel comic artist hopefuls also submitted works that were exhibited at the hallways of DLS-CSB SDA's 12th floor.
