Stan Lee’s appearance at ComicCon Asia canceled

Perhaps it was too good to be true?

In its social media pages, Thursday, ComicCon Asia announced the most unfortunate news: Legendary comic book writer Stan Lee isn’t appearing at the event after all.

“Due to Mr. Stan Lee’s health concerns, his management team and ComicCon Asia have mutually decided to  cancel his agreed appearance at the forthcoming ComicCon Asia 2018,” read a portion of the advisory.

The organizers said ticket holders for the Stan Lee events — Q&A, photo, autography, VIP photo, VIP Authograph, and Excelsior events — will be reimbursed.
