Aishwarya Rai stuns at Cannes in Filipino couture

Twirling to perfection, actress and beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had everyone staring as she walked the red carpet of the 70th Cannes Film Festival.

Wearing creations by Filipino fashion designers Michael Cinco and Mark Bumgarner, Rai looked something out of a fairy tale and was the definitive belle of the ball.

Rai was crowned Miss World in 1994. In 2003, she became the first Indian actress to be part of the Cannes Film Festival jury.

Cinco has dressed, among others, Beyonce, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell, Sofia Vergara, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Elie Goulding, Nicole Scherzinger, and Tyra Banks.

He also designed the elaborate dress worn by Mila Kunis in "Jupiter Ascending" and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera's wedding gown.

Bumgarner, meanwhile, frequently collaborates with Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista. He has previously dressed Bollywood superstar Parineeti Chopra.
