Kris Aquino tries on five beautiful gowns for the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ premiere

A few hours before the much-awaited ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Hollywood premiere, Kris Aquino gave her Instagram followers a preview of what she plans to wear.

The Queen of All Media posted a slideshow video featuring five gowns she’s tried on for the high profile event. According to Kris, they are by Filipino designers Francis Libiran and Michael Leyva.

Two are baby pink, three are yellow, with all having the same cut that highlights her waist.

Both pink dresses feature off-the-shoulder necklines and elegant draping, while the yellow ones had elaborate sleeves that made her look every inch a royal.

Completing her glam team are makeup artist RB Chanco, who flew with her to the US and LA-based hairstylist Pin Antonio. The jewels adorning her neck? They are by Diagold.

In the movie, Kris Aquino plays Princess Intan, a Malay royal with a snobbish personality. "Crazy Rich Asians" will start screening in Philippine cinema today, August 8. — LA, GMA News
