Whale shark spotted in Boracay

Several of Boracay’s fisherfolk were went out near  Crystal Cove to fish and were wondering why the schools of fish were leaving the area.

And then the explanation showed itself: A huge whale shark surfaced near their boat and swam by them for at least half an hour.

According to the fishermen, this isn’t the first time a butanding was spotted in Boracay. But when it reached maximum capacity, the whale sharks shied away. Glad to know they're back in there again!
