Cebu Pacific to strictly enforce hand-carry luggage policy by July 17

Cebu Pacific said Friday it will strictly enforce its policy on the accepting passengers’ hand-carry baggages.

“Beginning July 17, 2018, Cebu Pacific will strictly enforce our policy on hand-carry baggage acceptance,” the budget airline said in an advisory.

“Passengers are allowed one carry-on or hand-carry baggage inside the cabin, with a maximum weight of seven kilograms and dimension of 56cm x 36cm x 23 centimeters for Airbus flights and 56cm x 35cm x 20cm for ATR flights,” it said.

In addition to one carry-on baggage, each passenger may also bring a laptop in its own bag or a handbag.

“Adult passengers traveling with infants may carry-on one baby bag, aside from their allowed hand-carry baggage,” Cebu Pacific said.

The move is line with the carrier’s effort to streamline operations and provide a more efficient check-in experience at the airport. —Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
