Jollibee is taking Vietnam’s PHO24 to PHL

Home-grown fast food giant Jollibee Foods Corp. said Wednesday it will take Vietnamese restaurant brand PHO24 to the Philippines.

PHO24 will come to the Philippines via Jollibee subsidiary Fresh N’ Famous Foods Inc., according to a regulatory filing submitted by Jollibee Foods vice president Valerie Amente.

Jollibee said one of its joint ventures, SuperFoods Group, owns and operates PHO24, which serves traditional Vietnamese dishes with rice noodles as core products.

“In its November 2016 disclosure, Jollibee Foods disclosed that the SuperFoods Group aims to serve consumers in Asia and key cities in the world high quality and healthy Vietnamese food at affordable prices through the PHO24 brand,” it said.

As of March 31, Jollibee Foods was operating 2,895 restaurants in the Philippines and 943 abroad. —Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
