Seven drug suspects killed in QC buy-bust ops

Seven drug suspects were killed in Quezon City early Friday after a gunfight with police following a buy-bust operation, Unang Balita reported.

The buy-bust operation was conducted at the residence of one Kuya Boy in Dupax, Brgy. Old Balara, Quezon City a few minutes past 12 a.m.

The suspects were reportedly having a shabu session at the venue during the buy-bust operation.

Initial investigation showed the suspects sensed the presence of police officers following the transaction.

They fired at policemen, prompting authorities to fire back.

The suspects were wounded and brought to the East Avenue Medical Center but were pronounced dead on arrival.

Recovered from the crime scene were five .45-caliber pistols, two .38-caliber revolvers, drug paraphernalia, alleged drugs, and marked money. —KG, GMA News
