Manila Auxiliary Bishop and chairman of the CBCP Commission on the Laity Broderick Pabillo led the prayers during a procession held at the Quirino Grandstand early Saturday morning, according to the social media posts of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

The activity is led by the Sangguninang Laiko ng Pilipinas, the umbrella organization of lay groups in the country.
The event, dubbed as "Walk for Life," is aimed at raising issues on the Duterte administrations's war on drugs, abortion, the moves to revive the death penalty, destruction of the environment, among others.
Simultaneous activities are also expected in Tarlac, San Pablo, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. — BAP, GMA News
