Wounded 9-foot dwarf sperm whale found beached in Quezon province

A dwarf sperm whale was beached along the coastline of Calauag, Quezon province on Wednesday morning.

The whale, which had numerous wounds in different parts of the body, was 9.11 feet long and weighs around 200 kilos.

A veterinarian was on hand to check on the condition of the whale, which was given antibiotics.

The whale, a protected species, was returned to the sea after a few hours. — BAP, GMA News
