Suspected drug pusher with alleged links to Parojinog group dead in police op


A man suspected to be a drug pusher with alleged links to the Parojinog group died during a buy-bust operation in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental, according to a report on Unang Balita by Victoria Tulad on Friday.

The suspect, identified as Reynan Pinuti, immediately drew his gun and ran after sensing that the person he was transacting with was with the police.

Police fired back at the suspect until he died.

Recovered from the suspect were 11 packets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and one gun.

Police said the suspect has a sibling who is wanted for allegedly being a member of the Parojinog group suspected dealing with illegal drugs.

Cavite

Meanwhile, in General Trias, Cavite, a drug suspect identified only as Alias MJ was also killed in a buy-bust operation.

The suspect allegedly fired at policemen twice when he realized the persons he was transacting with were cops.

Recovered from the suspect were some packets of suspected shabu and one firearm.

Camarines Sur

In Nabua, Camarine Sur, a man was arrested after he was found in possession of alleged illegal drugs.

Nabbed was Noel Niebres who initially attempted to draw his gun at arresting officers.

Found inside his bag were one packet of suspected shabu and alleged drug money.

Also recovered from his house was a firearm. 

Authorities said the suspect is on the priority target list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as he is allegedly a big-time pusher.

The suspect was previously arrested but was able to post bail.

The suspect however denied that the recovered items were his.

He admitted to having used drugs but said he is not a drug pusher. —KG, GMA News
