OFW from South Cotabato takes on Great Wall marathon

A Filipina was among the participants who successfully finished the Great Wall of China Marathon 2018, a grueling 42-kilometer race in China's most famous landmark.

Shiery Gyle Apostol Ackinserk ran for more than 10 hours to reach the 15,000th step of the Great Wall with the flag of the Philippines in hand, according to a report on News To Go on Wednesday.

Ackinserk, who has joined marathons in various countries, considered the China marathon special as it occurred a day after her birthday.
