Look: Pope Francis items sold in Quiapo ahead of Nazarene Feast

Pope Francis is getting a share of the limelight in Manila's Quiapo district, ahead of the Feast of the Black Nazarene there on Jan. 9.

As of early Saturday, several Pope Francis-themed items were being sold in stalls near Quiapo Church, radio dzBB's Luisito Santos reported.

The pope is due to visit the Philippines Jan. 15 to 19.

Photos posted by dzBB's Santos showed the souvenir items included Pope Francis calendars, T-shirts, and prayer booklets.

Such items were sold alongside the "regular" Nazarene souvenir items such as calendars and figurines.
Devotees of the Black Nazarene started flocking to Quiapo on New Year's Day for the yearly thanksgiving procession.
