LIST: Banks open during the papal visit


(UPDATED 2:09 p.m., Jan. 14, 2015) While Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Monday announced suspension of banking operations in Metro Manila during the papal visit this week, most banks in Metro Manila will have select branches open to serve their clients' banking needs.
 
Bank of the Philippine Islands and BPI Family Savings Bank
 
All branches in Metro Manila will be closed on January 15, 16 and 19, 2015. 
 
On January 17 to 18, mall branches and kiosks with Saturday and Sunday operations will be open during the holiday weekend.
 
BDO Unibank Inc.
 
Select non-mall branches will be open until 3 p.m. while selected mall branches will be open until 4 p.m.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank)
 
Some branches in Metro Manila will be open during the holidays.
 
Open until 12:00 noon – Greenhills North, Greenhills-Eisenhower, Ermita, J.Nakpil-Taft Ave., Midtown-UN Ave., Paco-A.Linao, Quirino Ave.-Leon Guinto, Roxas Blvd.-Vito Cruz, Taft Ave.-P. Ocampo. 
 
Open until 1:00 p.m. – Pureza-R.Magsaysay Blvd., Asuncion, Pasong Tamo-Javier, Pasong Tamo-Bagtikan, Sucat-Gatchalian, Alabang.
 
Open until 3:00 p.m. – Salcedo Village and Pasay-Baclaran.
 
Open until 4:30 PM – A. Lacson Ave.-Sampaloc, Morayta, N. Domingo-San Juan, V. Mapa, Annapolis-Greenhills, Greenhills-Promenade, Greenhills-Wilson Center, Sta. Cruz-Manila.
 
Other branches – Roosevelt will be open until 12:30 p.m. while ADB Branch will be open until 4:00p.m.
 
January 19, 2015 (Monday):
 
Open until 12:00 noon – C3-A.Mabini, Farmers Plaza, Commonwealth Ave., Raon, A. Maceda, Bustillos-Sampaloc, España, UST-España, Zurbaran, Escolta Tower, and Intramuros.
 
Open until 1:00 p.m. – Masangkay-Luzon, Lavezares, Nueva, Pasong Tamo-Buendia, Pasong Tamo-Metropolitan Ave., Head Office Center, Las Piñas-Pamplona and Madrigal Bus Park-Alabang.
 
Open until 4:30 p.m. – Evangelista-Quiapo, Quiapo, Ortigas-Xavier and Addition Hills.
 
Other branches – 999 Mall branch will be open until 2:00 p.m., Sto. Cristo-C.M. Recto will be open until 3:00 p.m., while ADB branch will be open until 5:00 p.m.
 
Metrobank encouraged clients to use all e-channels – phone banking, mobile banking and Metrobankdirect Online, as well as ATMs during the holidays.
 
Maybank Philippines
 
Select branches will be open on January 15, 17 and 19 to provide service to the banking public.
 
On January 15, Thursday, branches open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. are: Main branch, Binondo, Caloocan, Cubao, Tomas Morato, Greenhills, Marikina, Bel Air, Ayala Alabang, Las Piñas and Resorts World.
 
All of its branches will be shut on January 16, Friday.
 
Maybank Tacloban branch will be closed on January 15 and 16.
 
On January 17, Saturday, Resorts World branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the main office will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
On January 18, Sunday, Resorts World branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
On January 19, Monday, only Villamor, Legaspi Tower and Newport branches will be closed.
 
 
Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom)
 
All branches will be closed on January 15 and 16.
 
On January 19, Monday, its branches in Quezon Avenue, Binondo Banking Center, Makati Banking Center, Meralco Avenue and Cubao will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 
Security Bank
 
Security Bank said it will open select NCR branches from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, while its Tacloban branch will be closed on January 15 and 16.
 
Meanwhile, select branches will observe regular banking hours on January 19, Monday.

United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB)
 
UCPB is also opening select branches in Metro Manila during the papal visit to serve clients' banking needs.
 
The following branches are open following on the following dates:

January 15: Binondo, FB Harrison, Guadalupe, Main Office Branch, Pasay Road, Pasong Tamo, The Fort, Concepcion, Batasan, Blue Ridge Bohol Avenue, Del Monte - Bonifacio, Diliman, Loyola Heights, Quirino Highway, Boni Avenue, Ortigas, Pasig, Karuhatan, Navotas, Las Piñas, Meycauayan and Sucat.
 
January 16: Baclaran, Escolta, 32nd Street, Ayala, JP Rizal, Main Office Branch, Metropolitan Avenue, Puyat Bautista, Anonas, Aurora Boulevard, Commonwealth Avenue, E. Rodriguez, Quirino Highway, Tomas Morato, Welcome Rotonda, Greenhills, Mandaluyong, San Miguel, Shaw - Escriva, Malabon, Malanday, BF Paranaque, Meycauayan and Zapote.
 
January 19: P. Ocampo, Soler, Dela Rosa, Global City, Main Office Branch, Marvin Plaza, McKinley Hill, Reposo - JP Rizal, Acropolis, Lagro, Mindanao Avenue, Muñoz, Novaliches, Quirino Highway, Annapolis, Kalentong, Pioneer, Grace Park, Paso de Blas, Alabang, Aquino Avenue and Meycauayan.
 
For those not covered by these branches, UCPB said its electronic banking channels -- UCPB Connect, UCPB Mobile Phone Banking, UCPB ATMs and UCPB.Biz are available for clients' balance inquiries, bill payments, and fund transfers. 

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) 
 
PSBank said all of its branches in Metro Manila will be closed on January 15 and 16. But on January 19, all branches will resume banking operations. 
 
“We advise our clients in Metro Manila to complete their banking transactions ahead of the papal visit to ensure their transactions are settled before the long holidays.

However, even when January 19 remains to be a holiday in the NCR, we shall open all PSBank branches to serve the needs of our clients,” PSBank Branch Banking Group Head/FVP Francis C. Llanera said.
