Carol Banawa's 'Bakit 'Di Totohanin' played in 'The Vampire Diaries'

Classic love song “Bakit 'Di Totohanin” by singer Carol Banawa was used in a scene from American supernatural drama television series “The Vampire Diaries.”

The 716th episode of the series featured a conversation between Valerie and Stefan, played by Elizabeth Blackmoore and Paul Wesley, with the song playing in the background.

In an Instagram post, Carol expressed her gratitude to the makers of the series and the supporters of original Filipino music.

“They have aired it already! #thevampirediaries used my song in one of the scenes for the episode 716. It was a scene between Stefan and Valerie. They used, 'BAKIT DI TOTOHANIN.' I am in disbelief right now but very grateful! Will be watching it tonight!” she said.

The Filipina artist added, “Again, thank you to #thevampirediaries Music Supervisor, Chris Mollere, @iansomerhalder who directed this episode, and the rest of the cast!”
