Baron Geisler arrested for allegedly threatening to kill brother-in-law

Actor Baron Geisler was arrested Monday afternoon after he threatened to kill his brother-in-law Michael Robin Stone Morales while holding a kitchen knife in Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City, Pampanga, authorities said.

Geisler was reported to have gone amok in front of Morales' house, where he was eventually apprehended by the police. 

It was Morales who reported the incident to the police, filing grave threat, alarm and scandal, and illegal possession of deadly weapon complaint against Geisler.

Geisler is currently under the custody of Angeles City Police Station 3 and will be facing charges of grave threats, alarms and scandals, and violation of Batas Pambansa 6, for illegal possession of deadly weapon.

Over the weekend, Geisler uploaded a video on Instagram where he's seen with a bloodied and bruised face. In the caption he said he was beaten up by a family member due to financial problems.

In his interview with PEP.ph, SPO3 Ronald Mendiola of Police Station 3 of Angeles City said that Geisler went to the police precinct to ask for a certification for a medical examination.

His brother-in-law Morales also posted a video on Facebook saying Baron barged into their home drunk and challenged him to a fight. "He asked for it, he got it."
