Gabbi Garcia: 'I would like to thank everybody who supported GabRu for the past 4 years'

Kapuso "Millennial It Girl" Gabbi Garcia released a statement regarding the alleged split of her love team with Ruru Madrid on Tuesday morning.

On Twitter, Gabbi posted a photo of her message, reflecting on the past 4 years that she was part of GabRu.

"I honestly learned A LOT from the past years, may it be personal life/work. I got to know myself better on how to handle situations, and how to manage my emotions as well. Strength & self-worth, indeed," she began.

She then thanked fans who have supported GabRu and said how "It has been a great journey filled with endless learnings and love. Your presence & support were unquestionable, and I never felt alone all through out the journey."

She admitted it was a difficult thing to accept but said it's for the greater good for both Gabbi and Ruru's professional and personal growth.

"I know some of you may have a hard time accepting what is currently on our plates right now, but please, more than anything, look at the brighter side that we get to grow not only as artists, but as individuals in our personal lives as well! That goes for you too, always positive side and the bigger picture."

Gabbi ended her statement with a positive note.

"I do hope we spread peace and positivity, and remain happy for the success and future projects of each one. I hope that this clears the mind of everybody who's asking about this. Mahal ko kayo. Maraming Salamat sa pagmamahal at suporta!"

GMA Artist Center on Monday released a statement, after haters attacked Gabbi online.

"As GMA Network’s home-grown talents, we want to give Ruru and Gabbi various projects that will develop their full potential as artists. We want to explore various possibilities and for now, they will have individual projects. We fully support their careers and likewise assure their fans and followers that they will still be seen in different Kapuso programs."
