PHL bags first two medals in 2018 Asiad with team poomsae bronze
The Philippines bagged its first two medals for the Asian Games on Sunday afternoon in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Despite losing to China, the team of Dustin Mella, Jeordan Dominguez, and Rodolfo Reyes, Jr. went on to win the bronze medal in the semifinals of the taekwondo men's team poomsae event. The Philippines scored 7.830 against China's 8.180.

Earlier, in the quarters, the national team won with a score of 8.330 against Iran's 8.100.
The women's team, on the other hand, settled for bronze after scoring 7.110 against Korea's 8.020.
