Body of Pinay killed in Beirut building collapse due home Monday
The remains of the Filipina who died when a building in Lebanon collapsed last January will be brought home to the Philippines on Monday.
According to a report of the news site Visayan Daily Star, Mary Ann Davatos, 26, was among the 26 people killed in the Beirut incident on January 15.
Davatos was a resident of La Castellana town in Negros Occidental.
The report said Davatos' remains are expected to arrive at the Bacolod Silay Airport at 6:00 a.m. on Monday.
Her brother Denmark Davatos, 28, said the victim had been working as a domestic helper in Lebanon for three years. - VVP, GMA News
