The prosecution team on Monday asked the Senate to subpoena lawyer and law professor Harry Roque to the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.   In a three-page request, the prosecutors asked the Senate, which is sitting as the impeachment court, to subpoena Roque to Tuesday's trial or on a date to be determined by the court.   The prosecution said Roque will be asked to testify on the voting record of Corona as a member of the Supreme Court.   They said this will prove Corona's "partiality and subservience" to former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who had appointed Corona to the Supreme Court in 2002 and as chief justice in 2010.   The prosecutors had earlier alleged that Corona voted in favor of Arroyo in 80 percent of cases pending before the high tribunal. – Kimberly Jane Tan/KBK, GMA News
