If there are any Filipinos in the small Italian town of Falciano del Massico, beware: the mayor has ordered his constituents not to die. According to a report of the news site Emirates 24/7 on Wednesday, the town mayor issued the order because of a dispute over a burial site. Earlier this month, the mayor issued this order: "It is forbidden for residents ... to go beyond the boundaries of earthly life, to go into to the afterlife." The mayor said until the town builds its own cemetry, the town residents have to keep on living. The weird order stemmed from a dispute of the town of Falciano del Massico with its neighboring town, which has a cemetery. After the two towns failed to agree on the expansion plans for the cemetery, Falciano del Massico was left with no place to bury its dead. The Commission on Filipinos Overseas said there were about 17,085 Filipinos in Italy as of 2010. - VVP, GMA News
